Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual candidates to apply.

Responsibilities include leading a team in top-notch customer service, handling orders and transfers, processing returns, and ensuring proper invoicing and scheduling adherence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom; ensure team executes service programs.
• Answer telephone according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure with accuracy.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods; stage returns properly.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted schedules; approve deviations; enforce clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties; manage day-end procedures, deposits, security, and vehicle checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
