Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of store leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with a focus on strong communication and teamwork. The position requires supervising showroom service levels, coordinating buy online/ship to store transfers, processing returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Monitor work schedules and clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures and bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
