Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, appearance, and operations. This role includes shift management in their absence and encourages bilingual candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience or automotive knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before it leaves the store.
• Delegate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks to the team.
• Monitor schedule adherence and clock-in/out per policy; manage day-end duties.
• Perform opening/closing, banking, deposits, and security checks; secure deliveries.
