Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management responsibilities in the absence of leadership and encouraging bilingual applicants.

The position emphasizes leading team members, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining store processes such as merchandising, pricing, and checkout accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required to be eligible for the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders and contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds using correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise properly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out by team members.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties including day end procedures and bank deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
