Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in absence of leadership and encourages bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities cover leading staff, supervising service levels, handling orders and returns, and ensuring secure banking and closing procedures. A strong emphasis on communication and cross-functional teamwork underpins daily duties.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
• Retail sales experience in auto parts and automotive knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Answer telephones according to policy and manage transfers and orders in a timely manner.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and invoicing with accurate payment methods.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure adherence to work schedules and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including deposits and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
