Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Heflin, Alabama, is looking for a Retail Service Specialist to support store management and ensure exceptional customer service in the retail environment. You will lead team members and manage customer transactions effectively.

This position requires strong communication skills and may require RSS Certification. Preferred candidates will have retail sales experience, especially in auto parts, and familiarity with automotive systems. Competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Required strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is a plus.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in daily operations.
• Lead team members in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise retail showroom customer service levels.
• Ensure timely processing of orders and customer notifications.
• Handle retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently.
• Perform store opening and closing duties.

Skills

Strong communication skills

Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts

Automotive systems and repair knowledge

ASE Certification

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
