Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Heflin, AL is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support store management in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role also assumes shift management in the absence of managers, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members in delivering excellent service to retail and professional customers, manage showroom service levels, handle store opening/closing duties, and participate in stock, transfers, returns and invoicing

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and ensure proper payment methods are used.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Enforce posted work schedules and ensure proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure deposits, and lock/secure the building.
