Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Alabama seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations, including shift management when managers are absent.

This role leads store team members to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, supervises service programs, handles phone calls, transfers, returns, invoicing, and opening/closing procedures, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently with the electronic ledger.
• Process and stage returns; issue refunds using correct payment methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store; communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule; clock-in/out per policy; perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
