Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

Responsibilities include leading customer service, handling transactions, processing orders, and ensuring proper invoicing, with opportunities for growth and professional certification efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team executes customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and communicate shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are processed and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out.
