Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role will assume shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

Responsibilities include leading the team, managing service programs, handling orders and returns, and ensuring proper invoicing and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team member execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Manage buy online/ship to store and transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and stage merchandise correctly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure proper adherence to work schedules and clocking in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
