Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

The position emphasizes leading by example, managing in-store service programs, and ensuring accurate processing of purchases, returns, and transfers while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Must have RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team executes on service programs.
• Ensure all transactions, returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with management to ensure proper scheduling and adherence to policies.
