Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Ohio seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, service, and operations, including shift management when managers are unavailable.

Your role will supervise customer service levels, manage in-store programs, handle returns, transfers, and invoicing, and ensure smooth opening/closing procedures. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders timely.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately.
• Invoice all merchandise including core charges and warranties before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and manage merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
