Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership and a focus on exceptional customer experiences.

Qualified candidates should have strong communication, the ability to obtain RSS certification, and ideally ASE certification, with Spanish fluency viewed as highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• ASE Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom and drive service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure returns are processed accurately and refunds issued correctly.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adherence to schedule and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties including day-end procedures and deposits.
• All other duties as assigned.
