Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistants in sales, customer service, and operations. The role may involve shift management in managers' absence, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading a team to deliver exceptional service, managing showroom operations, and ensuring compliance with procedures across orders, returns, and invoicing. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom.
• Handle phone calls according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds with correct methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and adhere to schedule.
• Perform opening/closing duties and security checks.
