Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants in driving sales, service, and store operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of leadership and encouraging bilingual applicants.

Responsibilities cover leading a team in delivering exceptional customer service, processing online orders, managing returns, and ensuring proper invoicing and security procedures. Automotive knowledge and RSS certification readiness are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, ideally in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure telephone calls follow company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and transfers promptly; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using electronic ledgers.
• Process returns and exchanges with accurate refunds and proper staging.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks accordingly.
• Manage opening/closing duties, including day-end procedures and secure safekeeping of money and assets.
• All other duties as assigned.
