Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may take on shift-management duties when needed.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, with strong communication skills and the ability to obtain RSS Certification. Automotive knowledge and a passion for customer service are a must.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure phone is answered according to policy and process orders and transfers promptly.
• Manage day-end procedures, deposits, and security in accordance with policy.
• Oversee returns, exchanges, refunds, and merchandise invoicing before leaving the store.
• Coordinate communications and merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Perform opening/closing duties and ensure adherence to schedule.
