Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts preferred.
• Automotive systems knowledge is desirable.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure program execution.
• Ensure calls are answered per policy and orders/transfers are processed timely.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Invoicing of merchandise, core charges, and warranties before shipment.
• Communicate Zipline messages and oversee merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff adhere to work schedules and clock in/out per policy.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures.
