Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Plainwell, MI seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assistants in sales, service, and store operations, with shift management duties when needed.

You will lead team members in serving retail and professional customers, manage service programs, and ensure efficient ordering, invoicing, and returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Spanish language skills desired.
• Retail sales experience preferred, especially in auto parts.
• Automotive systems knowledge is a plus.
• ASE certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team adheres to programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and transactions are processed timely.
• Handle buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and store-to-store orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds with proper payment methods, and stage returns properly.
• Ensure invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Delegate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks; monitor scheduling and clock-ins/out.
