Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in absence of store leadership; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Strong communication and certification readiness are valued for growth within the retailer. Responsibilities include leading team members, supervising service levels, processing orders, handling returns, and performing opening/closing

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts background beneficial.
• Automotive knowledge including systems/repair helps performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and support sales programs.
• Ensure phone calls follow company policy and order processing is timely.
• Handle buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds accurately and stage returns.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and security procedures are followed.
• Communicate messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and cash handling according to policy.
