Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers with sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of store leadership. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading a team to deliver excellent customer service, supervising showroom operations, processing orders and transfers, and maintaining accurate cash handling and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom including team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedures.
• Process returns and exchanges friendly, issue refunds correctly, stage merchandize as needed.
• Ensure merchandise invoiced before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out per policy and follow schedules.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day end procedures.
