Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of the Store Manager, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

You will lead team members to provide excellent service to retail and professional customers, handle returns, process orders, and ensure policy-compliant operations, inclusive of opening/closing duties and security checks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts environment ideal.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge beneficial.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• ASE Certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and execute service programs.
• Ensure telephone handling meets policy and timeliness of orders and transfers.
• Process buy online/ship to store and related orders; notify customers on shipments.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately using proper payment methods.
• Invoice merchandise and manage core charges and warranties prior to leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out by team members.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures; secure money and deposits.
