Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and strong communication is essential. Responsibilities include supervising customer service, processing orders and transfers, handling returns and refunds, and ensuring accurate invoicing and security procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• RSS Certification required or obtainable.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts background ideal.
• Knowledge of automotive systems helpful.
• ASE certification welcomed.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and transfers and orders are processed promptly.
• Manage day-end routines, cash handling, deposits and security procedures.
• Oversee returns, exchanges and refunds with accurate payment processing.
• Oversee invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties.
• Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure Zipline messages are communicated.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and adhere to posted schedules.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure the store.
