Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership.

The position emphasizes leading teams, ensuring retail customer satisfaction, and timely processing of orders, transfers, and returns while maintaining store security and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and inter-store transfers promptly and notify customers on shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and maintain ledger accuracy.
• Process returns and refunds accurately using correct payment methods and stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Invoicing of merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and ensure Image Maker and merchandising tasks are completed as assigned.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and secure money and premises.
• All other duties as assigned.
