Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts in Texas is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and assist with daily store operations. You will lead a team in delivering outstanding customer service to retail and professional customers and handle shift management in the manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, and ensure proper handling of merchandise.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clocking in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, money handling, and security checks.
