Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Ravenel, SC. You will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, with shift management responsibilities when needed.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and experience in auto parts is preferred. A strong focus on customer service and team leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges; issue refunds using correct payment methods; stage returned merchandise accordingly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Adhere to posted work schedule; obtain approvals for schedule changes; clock in/out per policy.
• Perform all opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, bank runs, and security checks.
