Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, appearance, and operations in a Charleston, SC location. The role may assume shift management in absence of leadership, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading staff to deliver top-tier customer service, managing showroom operations, processing orders and transfers, and ensuring accurate invoicing and stock handling.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure team execution of programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds correctly, and stage merchandise appropriately.
• Invoice all merchandise before it leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedule and proper clock in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
