Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in the absence of store leadership, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

You will lead a team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers, supervise service programs, handle transfers and orders, and ensure accurate invoicing and returns processing.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the electronic ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges friendly and accurately, and issue refunds with correct payment methods.
• Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules, approvals for changes, and proper clocking-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, and secure deposits and building.
• All other duties as assigned.
