Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. The role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of store leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Desirable: ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure proper execution of service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store transfers and notify customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds accurately, and stage returns properly.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure staff adhere to posted schedules and clock in/out correctly.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and money handling per policy.
• All other duties as assigned.
