Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading by example in customer service, managing showroom traffic, and coordinating store processes like transfers, special orders, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Spanish language skills are highly desired.
• Retail sales experience preferred, auto parts background advantageous.
• Knowledge of automotive systems is beneficial.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure adherence to programs.
• Ensure phone calls are answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers in a timely manner, contacting customers as needed.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges efficiently and correctly.
