Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This role will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and strong communication skills are essential. The position involves leading the team in customer service, processing orders, returns, and ensuring accurate invoicing

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Spanish language proficiency is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom.
• Answer telephone per policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and promptly.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and manage merchandising tasks.
• Monitor schedules and ensure proper clock-in/out.
• Perform opening/closing duties and end-of-day procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
