Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team during the Store Manager’s absence, ensuring high service levels and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training
• Required: Assistant Manager Certification
• Required: RSS Certification
• Desirable: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Desirable: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and programs
• Ensure adequate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours
• Assist in hiring by conducting interviews and coordinating recruitment
• Ensure all orders and transfers are processed promptly and communicated to customers
• Mentor team members on training compliance and company policies
