Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. You will lead the team to service customers and manage the store during absences or opposing shifts.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and you will assist in hiring, goal setting, coaching, and ensuring swift processing of orders and returns. This role emphasizes strong customer service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification are required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Ensure staffing at the sales counter during peak hours (lunch, evenings, weekends).
• Assist the store manager in setting and coaching team goals and training.
• Assist in recruiting tasks and interviewing to hire qualified team members.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store and transfers are processed timely and communicated to customers.
