Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role involves leading the team during the manager's absence and opposing shifts, with a focus on excellent customer service for both retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Experience leading a retail store team in customer service and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure adherence to service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours and shifts.
• Assist in setting team goals, providing feedback, and coaching team members.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified candidates.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers timely and contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Manage outside purchases and special orders efficiently and per procedure.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, refunds, and invoice accuracy across transactions.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages.
