Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a Part-Time Tier 1 Customer Service Agent to support the Training Services Team in a remote role across the United States. The role requires bilingual English and Spanish communication, handling inbound calls and emails, and upholding service standards while assisting learners and instructors. Standard Schedule: 4-5 days per week, Monday through Saturday. Hours vary between 12:30 p.m.

and 9:00 p.m. Eastern, with peak coverage 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. ET.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with potentially difficult customers.
• Proficiency with computer applications in a fast-paced, remote call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and email inquiries from Training Services learners, prospective learners, instructors, and instructor organizations.
• Use information from computer systems to provide resolution and update account records.
• Handle basic inquiries such as account maintenance and class information.
• Maintain daily production standards (AHT, Calls/Hour, Email/Hour, Online Time, Quality).
• Triage complex problems and route callers as needed.
