Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Referral and Scheduling Coordinator in Orlando, FL. You will schedule and pre-register patients for exams with external specialists and support clinicians with patient information.

The role emphasizes patient-facing interactions, accurate documentation, and use of EMR systems. A Bachelor’s degree and bilingual English/Spanish are preferred, with hours 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday at an onsite location.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on referrals healthcare experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Excellent professional communication abilities with patients and internal teams.
• Role is patient-facing and part of TB (Tuberculosis) screening program; TB screening will be required.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside the primary care physician's office.
• Gathers and communicates all prep instructions to patients and referring providers.
• Manages incoming and outgoing calls approximately 80% of the time.
