Job summary

Dal-Tile Corp. is seeking a Bilingual Production Trainer to provide on-the-job training, coach employees, and develop training materials for new hires and seasoned staff on processes, SOPs, and new products.

The ideal candidate will spend significant time on the production floor, observe performance, assess competency, and maintain the SOP binder while creating and documenting new SOPs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as a trainer or training facilitator, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Tailor training materials and provide direction to trainees.
• Assess, coach, and train on various operational and procedural material.
• Collaborate with Team Leads, Supervisors, Management, and HR to identify training needs.
• Develop and implement teaching aids based on workforce needs.
• Oversee testing and evaluation procedures for training completion.
• Conduct new hire orientation and OJT training; provide refresher training as needed.
• Report progress of trainees to management.
• Maintain and update the SOP binder and document new SOPs.
