Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Production Trainer to onboard new hires and tenured staff on the production floor. The role emphasizes on-the-job training, SOP maintenance, and SME development to ensure proficiency across operations.

You will collaborate with Team Leads, Supervisors and HR to tailor training, conduct assessments, and deliver refresher sessions, while maintaining records and adapting to changing priorities on a fast-paced manufacturing site in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience as a trainer in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and documentation.
• Ability to create and update SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on the job training to new hires and tenured employees.
• Maintain and update SOP binder and create new SOPs as needed.
• Tailor training materials and guide trainees.
• Assess, coach and train on operational material.
• Work with Team Leads, Supervisors, HR to identify training needs.
• Deliver orientation, refresher and retraining sessions.
• Document progress and communicate with management.
