Job summary

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, is seeking a Production Trainer to support the manufacturing team on the floor. You will create training materials, coach employees, and train new hires and tenured staff on SOPs, processes, and new products.

You will maintain the SOP binder, develop teaching aids, and assess trainee proficiency while partnering with Team Leads, Supervisors, HR, and management to tailor training to evolving needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ previous experience as a trainer or training facilitator in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Tailors training materials and provides direction to trainees.
• Assess, coach, and train on operational and procedural material.
• Works with Team Leads, Supervisors, HR to identify training needs.
• Develops teaching aids based on workforce needs.
• Oversees testing and evaluation procedures for training completion.
• Conducts new hire orientation and OJT, refresher, and retraining sessions.
• Reports on trainee progress to management.
• Communicates clearly with management via email or other channels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
