Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Per Diem to join our Ridgewood Patient Service Center at 401 Goffle Rd., Ridgewood, NJ. This casual/per diem role involves blood collection across ages, with schedule Monday to Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm and every other Saturday from 7:00am – 12:00pm.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry and excellent customer service, with occasional travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent phlebotomy training.
• 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
