Job summary

Labcorp in Elizabeth, NJ is hiring a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, enter patient data, and provide exceptional customer service.

The role supports travel to additional sites, with a schedule of Mon, Tue and Thu 9:00am-4:30pm and Saturday 9:00am-3:00pm, offering opportunities for growth within Labcorp and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
