Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist for the Jackson, NJ area. This casual/per diem position offers flexible hours, with shifts often from mornings and occasional Saturdays.

You will perform blood collections, handle specimen processing, and support patient services in a fast-paced environment. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with 3+ months of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to perform venipuncture for all age groups with proper technique.
• Strong communication and data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
