Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Per Diem to join our Ridgewood Patient Service Center at 401 Goffle Rd., Ridgewood, NJ. This casual/per diem role involves blood collection across ages, with schedule Monday to Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm and every other Saturday from 7:00am – 12:00pm.

The position emphasizes accurate data entry and excellent customer service, with occasional travel to additional sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent phlebotomy training.
• 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist - Bilingual Per Diem to join our team at the Ridgewood Patient Service Center (PSC), located at 401 Goffle Rd., Ridgewood, NJ.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm and every other Saturday from 7:00am – 12:00pm. This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary (any open PSC in the territory).

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or a completed training program from an accredited agency
• 1 year or more of active phlebotomy experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Pay Range: $17.60 - $30.41 per hour

• Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
• Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
• Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
