Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Perth Amboy, NJ. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00am to 5:30pm and involves blood collection, data entry, and customer service across diverse patient populations.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, be experienced in phlebotomy, and bilingual in English and Spanish. Certification or training from an accredited agency is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
