Job summary

Labcorp in North Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect samples for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and input patient data accurately.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience, and bilingual English/Spanish. Work schedule is Mon-Tue and Thu-Fri 8:30am-4pm, plus Saturday 8:30am-3:30pm; generous benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed
