Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Relief Pharmacy Call Center Agent for our Central Fill Pharmacy in Yakima, WA. Join a community health organization providing extensive services, including pharmacy, dental, and behavioral health, across 40+ clinics in WA and OR.

The role pays $18.75-$27.61 per hour and offers bilingual differential pay for Spanish-English proficiency. You will help patients with calls, update EMR data, process referrals, and promote mail-order pharmacy

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1 year of pharmacy assistant, office, administrative, patient care, call center or customer service experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish required at a level 9.
Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employment.
Knowledge of medical billing and terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle incoming and outgoing non-professional level phone inquiries and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
Update patient demographic information in the EMR.
Respond to inquiries and provide information such as hours, delivery, prices, prescription status, and refill availability.
Ensure newly enrolled mail-order patients are fully signed up.
Promote and educate patients on all pharmacy services, including mail order and auto-refill.
Complete third-party rebilling process and contact insurance for authorization.
May perform Lead duties and assist training; conduct quality audits as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
