Qualifications

• One year of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Possession of a Pharmacy Technician license in states of practice, or active Pharmacy Intern License.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred with proficiency for bilingual differential pay.
• Good communication, customer service oriented; basic medical terminology knowledge.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Enter patient data including name, insurance, allergies, doctor and diagnosis into the system.
• Enter prescriptions, select brand/product/strength per Provider instructions.
• Fill or dispense products and deliver to patient.
• Process prescription refills and verify stock levels.
• Order restocking when inventory falls to defined minimums.
• Verify quantities and submit orders to wholesalers.
