Job summary

Windsor Troy Law, LLP is seeking a diligent Litigation Paralegal to support our growing personal injury team. You will assist across the litigation lifecycle, from drafting complaints and discovery to trial preparation, reporting to the Supervising Attorney.

Key requirements include 3+ years in PI litigation, bilingual English/Spanish, and familiarity with California state and federal courts. Proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools and FileVine is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Personal Injury litigation experience at a plaintiff firm.
• Associates, Bachelors, or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with high proficiency.
• Experience with litigation in California state and federal courts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft and Google software applications.
• Familiarity with FileVine case management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drafts of written discovery requests, responses, and PI complaints.
• File pleadings/documents with the court with all attachments required per court.
• Prepare legal pleadings, such as motions, 998s, and deposition notices.
• Prepare subpoenas to obtain records and documentation.
• Assist with the production of documents by reviewing requests and coordinating with internal partners.
• Guide the process for gathering materials and preparing responses to litigation demands and subpoenas.
• Organize pleadings, correspondence, exhibits, and other documents.
• Prepare objections/responses to subpoenas.
• Manage service of process and daily calendaring/docketing of cases.
• Draft routine correspondence and support special projects, including fact investigations.
