The Capital Law Firm, P.C. is seeking a highly organized Litigation Assistant/Paralegal to support a busy Personal Injury team. The role emphasizes managing discovery, case files, and scheduling, with client communication across hearings, depositions, and trials.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in personal injury litigation, knowledge of CA procedures, and proficiency in MS Office and case-management tools such as Filevine or CasePeer. Spanish fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience in a personal injury firm.
• Knowledge of California court procedures and e-filing.
• Proficient with MS Office and case management software.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft discovery documents, subpoenas, and motions.
• Maintain and organize case files using legal case management software.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and court personnel.
• File legal documents with state and federal courts (electronic/in-person).
• Coordinate service of process and follow-ups.
• Track deadlines and ensure compliance with rules.
