Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Office Specialist at the Potranco clinic to manage patient check-in, insurance verification, and payments while delivering friendly, accurate information to families. This seasonal-full-time role requires certification and a strong ability to stay calm under pressure.

You will support clinical teams, document in the EMR, and communicate wait times clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first
• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments without losing accuracy
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving
