Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care is seeking a Bilingual Medical Front Office Specialist for the Bandera clinic. This seasonal-full time role handles front desk duties, insurance verification, patient check-in, and payment processing in a fast-paced pediatric setting.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid BLS certification, and the ability to work in the U.S. with background checks. Travel to other clinics may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enjoys working with children and families.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first.
• Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments with accuracy.
• Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully.
• Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy.
• Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving.
